CIBTAC Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments
The CIBTAC Professional Beauty Therapy Diploma is a level 3 internationally recognised beauty therapy diploma designed so that graduates become fully qualified beauty therapists who are salon ready and able to explore the wide beauty career path of their choice.

Mandatory and Optional Units
This diploma is made up from 4 mandatory units and 1 optional unit.
The course(mandatory) units are:

Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon

Provide facial electrotherapy treatments

Provide body electrotherapy treatments

Provide body massage

The Optional units are as follows:

Apply microdermabrasion

Provide self-tanning

Provide electrical epilation

Apply stone therapy massage

Provide Indian Head Massage
You don’t need to have previous beauty background to attend the course.
For anyone who’s aspiring to join the beauty and aesthetics industry.. You do not need to have beauty or relavent background to enter into this package.
You should ideally have: a good general education, including GCSE Mathematics and English, A* – C. This may also include achievement of Functional Skills or Essential Skills in Mathematics and English
Learners should either be working in or aspiring to join the Beauty Industry if possible. They should ideally have a good general education, including GCSE Mathematics and English, A* – C. This may also include achievement of Functional Skills in Mathematics and English.
You will have to be Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualified to be able to proceed into Level 4 Laser and Light trainings for Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation treatments. Alternatively you must have completed a recognised pathway qualification.
For Level 5 Vascular & Tattoo Removal trainings, you’ll have to be Level 4 qualified.
For Level 6 Fractional Laser & Pigmentation trainings, you’ll have to be Level 5 qualified

If you are practicing or intending to practice injectable aesthetic therapies, this is for you. It is a CPD course and not a qualification and as such it is available to Healthcare Professionals as well as non-healthcare professionals.

One of the following: • Completion of Level 5 Laser and Light Vascular & Tattoo Removal• Evidence of suitability for learning at Level 6.
For Single Lash Extension: No entry level requirements
For Advanced Lash Extension: completion of Single Lash Extension course.
Learners should either be working in or aspiring to join the Beauty Industry if possible. They should ideally have a good general education, including GCSE Mathematics and English, A* – C. This may also include achievement of Functional Skills in Mathematics and English
A regulated Level 3 Qualification in beauty therapy that include body electrical units. Or equivalent.
Completion of foundation nail trainings including Manicure & Pedicure is required.
This qualification is also suitable for doctors, nurses and some other allied health care professionals, as well as beauty therapists with a Beauty NVQ Level 3 or similar.
Learners should either be working in or aspiring to join the Beauty and Aesthetic Industry if possible. They should ideally have a good general education, including GCSE Mathematics and English, A* – C. This may also include achievement of Functional Skills in Mathematics and English

A regulated Level 3 Qualification in cosmetic practice and/or beauty therapy – including but not limited to: Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Cosmetic Practice; Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy (General) etc
Completion of this eLearning course can be used as a prerequisite to access later hands on foundation injectables training.

You can start providing these treatments to your clients. Or you can proceed to further nail trainings including Nail Enhancement, Gel Nails, Nail Art in order to become a professional nail technician.
Or you can proceed to further Beauty Therapy trainings, for example: Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
The knowledge within this qualification exists as a unit within Level 3 Complementary Therapy Qualifications and is a pre-requisite for many continuing professional development courses providing additional skills.
Achievement of this Level 3 Certificate will also provide essential knowledge underpinning many of the Level 4 aesthetic courses

CIBTAC’s Level 3 Diploma is a natural progression from Level 2 beauty therapy qualifications and is required by most spas and salons within the industry.
Progression upon the achievement of Level 3 diploma can include:

Advanced Electrical Application for Body

Achievement of CIBTAC Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Cosmetic Practice will provide the progression to the study of beauty therapy and aesthetic treatments at Level 4, including but not limited to:Laser & Light Therapy, Skin Peel, Micro-needling, Facial and Body Electrotherapy, Dermaplaning, Fibroblast Plasma and much more.
You will be able to get insurance on the treatments that you’ve been trained in. This course is a progression route to advanced Permanent Cosmetics training courses.
This will enable you to work in spas, beauty salons, aesthetics clinics or your own business providing specialised laser and light treatments.
Upon completion of this training course, you will also be able to progress into the next level of laser and light training:
• Level 6 Fractional Laser & Pigment Treatment with Laser and IPL
1 day intensive training based in our training centre in Billericay, Essex.
Delegates are expected to complete certain theory pre-study before attending the practical training sessions.
You can start strait away as a nail technician to provide high quality nail enhancement treatments to clients. This allows you to work in salons, as a mobile therapist or start your own business.
CIBTAC’s Level 3 Diploma is a natural progression from Level 2 beauty therapy qualifications and is required by most spas and salons within the industry.
Achievement of the Level 3 Diploma will also provide progression to the Level 4 certificate in laser and light skin rejuvenation, or the study of advanced aesthetic practices at Level 4 and above

As a qualified nail technician, you can progress directly into employment within commercial salons, self-employed / mobile technicians, spas, cruise liners and also retail and training
You can start practicing as a skin therapist. The certification you achieve will be recognised if you would like to seek employment in professional salons. Or, you can also setup your own business.
You can start practicing as a skin therapist offering low level skin peel and microneedling treatments.
Depending on your interest, you can either advanced into skin and add on other out of scope treatments (for example, our Skin Career Package), or choose to train in other areas like Laser and Permanent Makeup.
CIBTAC’s Level 2 Diploma is good introduction to Level 2 beauty therapy qualifications and is required by most spas and salons within the industry.
Further progress upon achievement of Level 2 Diploma can be:
Level 3 Diploma in beauty therapy
Level 3 Diploma in facial services
Level 3 Certificate in Nail Technology
The minimum entry criteria for those without a science or health care related university degree is a Level 3 Qualification in cosmetic practice and/or beauty therapy
If you do not have a recognised full Level 3 qualification, we offer a pathway qualification (CIBTAC Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Cosmetic Practice). Successful completion of this qualification will enable you access IQ Verify Level 4-7 Scheme.
CIBTAC’s Level 2 Certificate is a good introduction to Level 2 beauty therapy qualifications and is required by most spas and salons within the industry.
Achievement of the Level 2 Certificate will also provide progression to the Level 2 diploma in Beauty Therapy and the Level 3 Certificate in Nail Technologies offered by CIBTAC and other awarding organisations regulated by Ofqual.
You can start providing eyebrow enhancement services straight away. This course lays the foundation for you to advance into full beauty therapy qualifications.
